Country risk bandings can be set from 2 band system upto 5 risk band system providing Very High, High, Medium, Low and Very Low risk. Users can now manage the changes under User Profile - Risk Band Settings.

With this change, user has now the capability to disable double risk banding by selecting On and Off in this page.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is no longer classifying offshore financial centers (OFC) as separate from onshore financial centers. The IMF's OFC Assessment Program will move into the general Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP).

The IMF did publish an update of the OFC assessment in July of 2011 and this is what was used as a source in Country-Check. It has been further reviewed and the IMF has integrated OFC countries into the FSAP program. The source will remain as a point of reference but will no longer be weighted.

OECD progress report made on 2nd November from the original process report 2nd April 2009, updated the latest list for Jurisdictions that have substantially implemented the internationally agreed tax standard and Jurisdictions that have committed to the internationally agreed tax standard but have not yet substantially implemented.
Countries are now grouped into 2 categories having the jurisdictions have not yet implemented, rated more riskier than countries who already implemented tax standards.
